Every time I spot something like this, I remind myself that I wouldn’t be able to do Mandarin at all.

Hey I recognize those lyrics! Weird to see them randomly show up on some packaging like this. They are indeed from Eternal Morning , Epik High member Tablo’s 2007 side project with Pe2ny.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
The album is “a collection of unfinished musical scores for films that do not exist”. From the album’s liner notes on the first track (also titled “Eternal Morning”)...
eternal morning
Music for a film’s opening credit sequence.
Fade in. Morning. Bird’s eye view of an empty city. A woman’s soliloquy.

I laughed quite hard at many parts of that. Thanks, I needed this.

I mean you could plug it into Google Translate. You just wouldn’t be able to tell if the result made any sense. Hopefully you’d have the good sense to run it by someone fluent before sending it to the printer.

I suspect the problem is finding someone genuinely fluent costs more than it’s worth , and knowing whether someone e lse is fluent or not is non-trivial. They may not even know. Dunning-Kru ger and all that.
